At Prusa Research, we want to have every single aspect of the 3D printing process under control. We design and produce hardware and software, and even filament, to ensure that the printing results are perfect. But we noticed a critical performance bottleneck : the operator. Our internal testing has shown that sitting and browsing Printables for hours and hours may have unwanted effects (apart from excessive filament consumption), especially in colder seasons, such as suboptimal thermal regulation of the pedal extremities. 3D printers are also often located in colder rooms - workshops, garages, and similar locations. While we can successfully eliminate drafts using 3D printer enclosures, operators’ feet may be at risk. Not anymore! Prusa Socks are here to save the day.
