Is it for me? The Fiberlogy BVOH (butene-diol vinyl alcohol copolymer) filament is a very useful material for printing water-soluble supports. It can significantly improve the final surface of the print, where traditional supports could deform the surface, or be harder to remove. Water-soluble BVOH supports can be removed by using warm water and then disposed of in your sewage system, without impact on the environment. It can be also used on its own, for example for functional prototyping, jewelry, or moving mechanisms. This filament is perfectly capable of being used with multiple extruder tools. It also has great adhesion to other materials, such as PLA, PETG, ASA, or even TPU. Due to its susceptibility to moisture, it needs to be kept in a dry place, ideally in a tightly sealed container. Please note that this filament needs to be protected from moisture. Store filament in tightly sealed containers when not in use.
